Serious tram accident! A cyclist was hit head-on in the area of the Stendaler Straße/Quedlinburger Straße stop.
On Friday around 4.50 p.m. the driver of an e-bike wanted to cross the tracks in the area of the Stendaler Straße/Quedlinburger Straße stop.
The tram driver overlooked the cyclist at the crossing, hit him head-on and dragged the e-bike along for several meters.
The impact was so severe that a large part of the tram’s windscreen splintered. The cyclist was seriously injured and taken to a hospital. The tram driver had to be treated with a shock.
