The Buenos Aires Cocktail Week 2025 It will not be just a celebration of the art of cocktails. In its next edition, from September 1 to 7, it will incorporate a JOpen Training Ornada aimed at training young people with the aim of professionalizing the sector and generate new jobs. The initiative, promoted by the Argentine Chamber of Cocktail Bars (Cabarco), is part of this year’s motto: “Buenos Aires, capital of sustainable cocktails”.
During a recent meeting with Buenos Aires Minister of Justice, Gabino Tapiaand the Undersecretary of Labor, Horacio Bueno, Cabarco representatives announced the inclusion of this training day within the event. The activity will be carried out in the Innovation Park and will have simultaneous training in charge of international teachers and specialists in cocktails and hospitality.
“We want to professionalize and revolutionize our activity in the country. For that, the training of young people who are going to be the future workforce of the industry is key. Our focus is to generate employment and foster qualified local talent, “said Eduardo Demastri, president of Cabarco and owner of Malasangre and Malaria Bar.
In addition to Demastri, Marco Sinopoli (Olympos Skybar), Sergio Leboran (Airport), Germán Lacanna (Verne Club), Adrian Cabarco. Also present were labor authorities of the Buenos Aires government, such as Adrián Jalife, general director of Labor Relations.

The initiative seeks to strengthen ties between the State and an industry that is expanding. Last year, more than 150 bars participated in the Cocktail Week, which included special proposals and thematic events. By 2025, new activities and a new edition of The Cocktail Bar Awardsthe award that recognizes the best bartenders and bars in the country.
With this proposal, Cabarco aims to consolidate Buenos Aires as a regional reference pole in cocktails, combining creativity, employability and sustainability.
