Train traffic disrupted by collision between train and vehicle in Sint-Truiden | Sint Truiden

Due to the slippery road surface, a driver ended up with his car on the tracks at the level crossing in Velm near Sint-Truiden at around 6:15 p.m. A train traveling from Leuven to Hasselt collided with the car. There were no passengers on board the train, but the vehicle sustained extensive damage. It is not yet clear when train traffic can resume.
