Train traffic between Lichtervelde and Diksmuide interrupted by damaged catenary

A tractor damaged the overhead wires just after 2.30 pm on Wednesday when crossing the track at a level crossing in Kortemark. Infrabel’s technical staff will arrive on site to repair the damage as quickly as possible.

It is not yet clear how long rail traffic will be halted. Railway company NMBS is using replacement buses. A replacement train runs between Diksmuide and De Panne.
