A train collided with a car on Kreitenmolenstraat in Udenhout on Saturday evening. There was a woman and her baby in that car. Despite the enormous blow, they were only slightly injured.

Bystanders removed the victims from the car after the collision, while emergency services arrived at the track with several units. The damage to the car is extensive.

The woman and her baby were treated at the scene by ambulance personnel.

400 travelers stranded
The train collided with the car at a speed of approximately 130 kilometers per hour. There were approximately four hundred passengers on the train at the time. They cannot continue for the time being. It is not known when they will be taken off the train.

No trains
Due to the collision, no more trains ran between Den Bosch and Tilburg until half past nine.

It is not clear how the car ended up on the tracks. The police and ProRail are investigating.
