A first trailer for the new Marvel series “Moon Knight” shows US actor Oscar Isaac (42, “Dune”, “Star Wars”) in his new superhero robe.
The show about the hero of the same name will be available on entertainment giant Disney’s streaming service from March 30, 2022, according to the almost two-minute clip published on YouTube on Tuesday.
According to an announcement by Marvel in May 2021, the main character is said to suffer from dissociative identity disorder.
“I can’t tell the difference between living and dreaming,” the trailer reads. The partly action-packed scenes underline this sentence. The clip also features actor Ethan Hawke, who plays a kind of cult leader.
According to a report by industry publication The Hollywood Reporter, the series consists of six episodes. According to Marvel, Mohamed Diab (“Clash”) will direct. It’s not Isaac’s first Marvel role: In 2016 he played the super mutant “Apocalypse” in the film “X-Men: Apocalypse”.
