On the sidelines of the second division game between Fortuna Düsseldorf and VfL Osnabrück, a tragic accident occurred in the guest block of the Düsseldorf Arena.
As VfL announced, an Osnabrück supporter fell over the parapet in the guest area and fell several meters deep.
“Our fan is on the way to the hospital. His condition is critical. Both fan camps will be silent in the first half,” the club reported on X, formerly Twitter.
