Traffic jams during a light parade in the Jagersveld in Zaandam last night. At least a thousand visitors walked an illuminated route past various Biblical scenes. It was organized in this way for the first time by eight Zaanse churches. “It’s nice to get away from it all just before Christmas,” says a satisfied visitor. Another is already anticipating the next edition: “It is definitely worth repeating, especially when you see how busy it is!”
