One person was injured in a collision between a tractor and a passenger car this morning. The accident happened between the Drents-Groningen provincial border and Ter Apel.
Police say the victim was “seriously injured” and taken to hospital. It concerns an 18-year-old man from Ter Apel. The driver of the tractor was a 19-year-old man from the municipality of Emmen.
On the Barnflair East it went wrong just before 06:00. The car and tractor collided head on, how that could have happened is still unknown. Maybe the fog played a part.
Fire brigade, ambulance and mobile medical team came to the scene of the accident. The road was closed.
