TPS was dropped from the CHL – Tappara won the big club

Tappara claimed an away victory over Germany with winning shots.

In the ice hockey CHL, TPS lost its last dreams of getting to the playoffs. The visiting Wolfsburg Grizzlys from Germany were a rude opponent in Turku.

The DEL league team took a 2–0 lead in the second half. In the third period, Wolfsburg scored one more. TPS’ only goal was completed two and a half minutes before the end of the game Teemu Kivihalme Arttu Ilomäki and returned from North America Mikael Pyyhtien input.

The Germans were still happy with the 4-1 goal in an empty pit. With the loss, TPS remains third in the group with six points, which does not qualify for the next games.

Tappara, which has already secured its next place, defeated the German EHC München in an upward trend. Joni Tuulola set the pace with a goal in the first period, but the home team Munich scored the next three.

In the final set, Tappara came back two goals behind Patrik Virran and Jere Henriksson’s with goals. With the winning shots, the ax chests took a 4–3 victory. Petteri Puhakka, Christian Tanus and Niko Ojamäki succeeded in winning shots.
