Production of the new Toyota Aygo X Hybrid has started at the Czech Kolin plant. Driven by the Japanese company’s new generation of full hybrid engine, it has 116 HP and consumes 3.7 liters of petrol to travel 100 kilometers
Toyota started the production of Aygo X Hybrida new generation of the city car which maintains the compact proportions of the previous series but adds an electrified engine to the equation. Under the hood we find the scheme full hybrid of the new generation of the Japanese house, which as in the case of its older sister Yaris combines a 92 HP 1.5 three-cylinder Atkinson cycle engine with an 80 HP electric motor, for a maximum power of 116 HP and above all approved consumption in the order of 3.7 liters per 100 kilometers. Excluding Toyota promotions or incentives, the list price of the Aygo 20,850 euros.

The new Toyota Aygo X Hybrid is assembled in Czech Republicat the factory in Kolinwhere the Japanese city car was born since its introduction in 2005. The Toyota Yaris in European specifications are also currently produced here, while the outgoing generation of the Aygo, the one with only the 72 HP 1.0 petrol engine, was assembled from 2022 to 2025 in a total of over 365,000 specimens. Since its inauguration, Toyota’s Kolin plant has churned out more than 2.3 million cars and currently 3,200 employees work there.
