Lucas Tousart (25/came from Lyon in 2020 for 25 million) and Dodi Lukebakio (24) were considered sales candidates before the season. Suddenly they are important supports. The former problem children have matured – one is now a leader, the other a beacon of hope!
Tousart was even captain against Frankfurt. Because the two bosses Marvin Plattenhardt (30/muscle problems) and Prince Boateng (35/bank) didn’t play along.
Coach Sandro Schwarz (43) on this: “Because of his personality, we made Lucas captain for this game at short notice.”
And Tousart was a real leader!
He ran 11.67 kilometers, won 64.7 percent of duels – Hertha’s best values (source: Sportec Solution)! On the ground, the snappy Frenchman (9 out of 11 duels won) was almost invincible. World champion Mario Götze felt this in particular in the game.
Dodi Lukebakio is also getting better and better. Against Frankfurt (1:1) he set the goal, had three shots on goal himself and a total of four assists (best values). Impressive: His sprints (28) and intense runs (67) were also by far the top values.
Schwarz praises Hertha’s top scorer (2 goals, 2 assists in 3 competitive games): “Dodi had a lot of offensive actions. And this time he did a much better job backwards. He has a very good package, but he still has to put that on the pitch every day.”
Hertha BSC
If Dodi manages to do that, he suddenly becomes a beacon of hope.
