The organization of the Ronde van Drenthe has decided to remove all cobbled sections from the course for the women’s race on Saturday – counting for the Women’s WorldTour.
The combination of snow and ice makes this part of the route impassable. An alternative route is being driven, which for the time being will take you over the Col du VAM. The start is currently scheduled for 13:00.
The tour has been cancelled.
Today the Drentse 8 was neutralized after one and a half rounds and shut down after two rounds.
