Tour de Suisse: South African Impey wins the stage

Professional cyclist Daryl Impey has won the fourth stage of the Tour de Suisse. After 190.8 kilometers from Grenchen to Brunnen, the 37-year-old South African sprinted ahead of Australian Michael Matthews and Sören Kragh Andersen from Denmark.

In the overall standings, Briton Stephen Williams maintained his lead despite minor problems on a climb 15 kilometers from the finish. Maximilian Schachmann from Berlin, who lost his second place on Tuesday after a fall, is still in 17th place.

The fifth stage takes the field of riders over 190.1 kilometers from Ambri to Novazzano. The Tour de Suisse ends on Sunday with the individual time trial in Vaduz.
