Tour de Ski 2022–23: Pertty Hyvärinen cursed heavily

The men’s skier was really down after the disappointment in Oberstdorf.

Perttu Hyvärinen, 31, is a polite guy and a gentleman skier. Tuesday’s race in Oberstdorf on stage 3/7 of the Tour de Ski got emotional for Savolainen.

He cursed himself uncharacteristically after the competition in an interview with Iltalehti.

– Damn, I hate it. Satan. It was shit. It was a difficult day. Jesus after all, Hyvärinen began.

Many others also think the track is pretty badass…

– That’s good. A good rise and the tasuri must be hosed. I must have been egged in the ski test, so the uphills didn’t go.

So you didn’t like it?

– Apparently too sensitive a ski. Or did the circumstances change – Did the track slip through the cracks. The ski glided well, so I probably could have asked for more grip. Too bad.

I’ve never seen you so angry…

– There’s a really good vibe and it feels like Pertsa is going well, but now it’s getting hot. I expected today to go well. The condition is coming out very well. There have been too many failures, said the man who finished in the traditional 12th place in the World Cup twice this season.

Hyvärinen was 36th on Tuesday. He lost to the winner of the event Johannes Kläbo 1.19,1.

– Disappointment resets when there is good skiing.

Finally, humor

Perttu Hyvärinen was 36th in Tour de Ski stage 3/7. Jussi Saarinen

On Wednesday, stage 4/7 of the Tour in Germany is 20 kilometers free pursuit.

– In my free time, I’ve become an adventurer. If only they would give me opportunities, I would ski them, Hyvärinen lightened up at the end and pointed to the fact that he went from qualifying to 30 seconds in the Val Müstair free sprint at the Tour last Saturday.

Although the farmer is a master of normal distances, he has, for example, been successful in the free sprint at the beginning of the season in the Finnish Cup in Vuokatti. Of course, the Finnish Cup and the World Cup are really different level competitions.
