Professional cyclist Rohan Dennis has maintained his overall lead at the 75th Tour de Romandie after the third stage. The Australian from Team Jumbo-Visma took third place after 165.1 km, starting and finishing in Valbroye.

New Zealand’s Patrick Bevin (Israel-Premier Tech) secured the day’s victory in the sprint ahead of Brit Ethan Hayter (INEOS Grenadiers), who won the prologue and the second stage. The best German driver was again Nikias Arndt (Buchholz/DSM) in ninth place. Arndt finished seventh on Thursday.

The overall victory will be decided in the mountains on Saturday and Sunday. Dennis is currently 14 seconds ahead of day winner Bevin.
