The Tour de France reports its fourth corona case. Australia’s Luke Durbridge has tested positive and will therefore drop out of the race ahead of stage ten. He has mild symptoms, his BikeExchange-Jayco team said.

The previous weekend, three drivers, including the well-placed Frenchman Guillaume Martin, had returned home after testing positive. After that, on the rest day, however, all the obligatory driver tests were negative.

Voluntary testing of the teams

Corona tests were mandatory for the drivers once before the start of the tour in Copenhagen and on the rest days. However, many teams voluntarily have tests carried out in order to detect infections in good time.
