The German bike sprinter Pascal Ackermann has won again after almost two years on the WorldTour.

The Palatinate won the fourth stage of the Tour of Poland over 179.4 kilometers from Lesko to Sanok in a mass sprint. The Belgian Jordi Meeus from the German Bora-hansgrohe team and the Italian Jonathan Milan took second and third place. Colombian Sergio Higuita, who drives for Bora, is further ahead in the overall standings.

Ackermann, who has been driving for Tadej Pogacar’s UAE team since this season, had his last WorldTour victory in August 2020 at the Tour of Spain. In the spring, the 28-year-old was out due to a fracture in his coccyx.
