The transition from Zakaria Aboukhlal to the newly promoted Toulouse is complete. AZ has confirmed the transfer of the Moroccan international tonight. The attacker still had a contract for one year in Alkmaar.
Since his arrival in 2019, Aboukhlal has played 88 official matches for AZ in which he scored 12 goals. In a short time he is the fourth player of the Alkmaarders who exchanges the Eredivisie for the highest French football competition. Myron Boadu (AS Monaco), Calvin Stengs (OGC Nice) and Marco Bizot (Stade Brest) are also active in Ligue 1.
The amount of the transfer fee that the French pay AZ has not been officially announced, but would be around two million euros. With bonuses, that amount could increase.
