Deal could be worthwhile for Chelsea
Tottenham Hotspur had already made a move on Conor Gallagher last summer shortly before the end of the transfer window, and a new attempt could be made in the winter. A sum of around 40 million euros is being brought into play as a transfer fee, which is in line with the market value of the 23-year-old, who is valued at 42 million euros. Blues homegrown Gallagher has been trained at Stamford Bridge since 2008 and has only left the club four times on loan. There could also be movement in Tottenham’s defensive personnel. According to Fabrizio Romano The North Londoners are ready to make an initial verbal offer for centre-back Radu Drăgușin. Discussions with Genoa CFC are said to have been started beforehand, and the 21-year-old himself had already given his go-to for the deal.

Tottenham is therefore pushing for a quick agreement, which is why a transfer from the previously favored Jean-Clair Todibo (24) could be ruined because the OGC Nice takes too long to make a decision. A new central defender is expected to be presented to Ange Postecoglou’s team next week, and they are now said to have given the green light for a Drăgușin signing.
The Romanian international only moved from Juventus Turin to Genoa last summer for 5.5 million euros, has not missed a game there this season and increased his market value this year from 3.5 million to 20 million euros.
