Some will leave on loan and then return, one is particularly coveted on the transfer market, others will increase their playing time in the first team: here is the Nerazzurri coach’s plan for “his” boys
The scudetto won early, 87 points in the standings, the Italian Cup won without suffering a minute in the final and… six young players launched, plus many others monitored closely or called up to the first team. The balance of Cristian Chivu’s first year on the Inter bench is largely positive, not only for the winning present but also for the future already sown. With courage and without fear, on the right occasions: someone in the initial stages of the Italian Cup, someone during the match, a couple as starters. But what future awaits the kids that the Nerazzurri coach has temporarily promoted to the first team?
from topalovic to mosconi

The person who has remained most in the eyes of the Nerazzurri fans, both for a chronological and technical question, is undoubtedly Luka Topalovic. The Slovenian born in 2006 took over in the last championship match in Bologna and immediately showed a glimpse of his technique, with that perfect assist for Diouf’s final 3-3. Not on his absolute debut, because he had already made his debut in Como last year with Inzaghi on the bench, but on his seasonal debut with Chivu’s Inter. And what a debut. This is why next year several doors could open for the little gem taken from Domzale: the most likely scenario to date is that he remains attached to the Nerazzurri Under 23 team, increasing his playing time in the first team, but it is not excluded that the Inter management will perhaps consider a loan in Serie A to more quickly cultivate the attacking midfielder’s talent. He will certainly remain under the careful control of the club, as will Mosconi who made his debut first at the Olimpico against Lazio and then at San Siro in the championship match against Verona. The striker, born in 2007, attracts a lot of attention on the transfer market. But like Topalovic, there is no scenario that will take him away from Milan permanently. His contract could indeed be included in the Muharemovic deal with Sassuolo, but in any case Inter would maintain control of him by inserting a “Stankovic-style” buy-back clause.
and the others?

In Bologna, in his Bologna where his father and grandfather also played, Matteo Cocchi was also seen, a left back who grew up with Federico Dimarco as a role model. For him too, his absolute debut had come a year earlier, taking over in the Champions League (paired with Berenbruch), but this season he had already been seen in the Italian Cup: substituted against Venezia – together with Spinaccè -, starting with Torino on the left with the other very young Kamatè on the right. Closing out the group of debutants is Lavelli, who in Serie A against Bologna in the first leg replaced Thuram at the end. This does not mean, however, that the six debutants were the only very young players monitored by Chivu. Because Alexiou, Berenbruch, Bovo, Zanchetta, Agbonifo, Cinquegrano, Iddrissou and more are also considered very interesting. The vast majority of the names mentioned will make up the backbone of Inter between Under 23 and Primavera, but some are considered ready for a loan and learning period away from Milan.
