Top soldier of European Union wants to send soldiers to Greenland: “That would be logical”

The highest military officer of the European Union, Robert Brieger, wants to send soldiers to Greenland. “It would be logical to station troops from EU countries,” he says in the German newspaper ‘Welt Am Sonntag’. One of the reasons is the threat of US President Donald Trump to annex Greenland, which has been under Danish control for centuries.
