Top form continues with shot putter Jessica Schilder with a thick Dutch record

For the third time in ten days, Jessica Schilder has broken the Dutch record shot put. At the Diamond League match in Oslo, she put the bullet to 19.46 meters. That was good for the silver medal.

For Schilder it is an improvement of no less than 27 centimeters compared to Tuesday. Then she came to 19.19 meters in the Czech Republic. Until this season, the Volendam had not broken the barrier of 19 meters.

In Oslo, the American Chase Ealey was in a class of its own. She came to the gigantic distance of 20.13 meters and took the gold.

Samuel to EK

It was also a successful evening for sprinter Jamile Samuel. The Amsterdammer ran exactly the European Championship limit on the 200 meters with a time of 23.05 seconds. That time was good for bronze in the Norwegian capital.

There will be another Diamond League match in Paris on Saturday.
