Show news presenter Tooske Ragas wants more money from Talpa after the leak of Yvonne Coldeweijer’s salary, says TV critic Victor Vlam. “It’s on the line now.”
Yvonne Coldeweijer was expected to earn almost 900,000 euros at Talpa in two years, but her salary has been stopped and both parties are now at odds over this. The mega salary of the juice diva was confirmed during the legal case, and that is information that John de Mol would rather not have seen come out, Victor Vlam thinks.
Nuclear disaster
TV critic Victor thinks that this is why Talpa has made such a high settlement offer to Yvonne, namely one full year’s salary plus €100,000. “There is of course a very good reason why they came up with a settlement proposal the day before the summary proceedings, because they are not happy that all this has come out.”
He continues in the podcast Victor Indicates TV: “I think what has come out here is a nuclear disaster for Talpa. Yes, a lot of embarrassing information has come out about Yvonne, but what makes it damaging is that her salary has come out. That is really high. It is very different that it has now actually been confirmed. Now we know for sure.”
Tooske on the line
Yvonne’s salary will undoubtedly cause unrest at Talpa, according to Victor. “It is no longer speculation, but we know it and many people at Talpa will come up with the idea of asking for more money now. Someone like Tooske Ragas is already on the phone with Uncle John, so to speak.”
Why then? “To see if she can’t get more money too. She may not be worth 4.500,000, but she does present Shownieuws four times a week and only 3,000,000. This means that a lot of people will demand more because they will compare themselves with Yvonne Coldeweijer.”
Kees and Rob
Who else is on the line at the Talpa summit? “Kees Tol may want to see more money for his housing program, Rob Kamphues will suddenly shout that De Allesweter VIPS is quite a success and he should get more money for it. This way you get all kinds of people who will demand more salaries and also people behind the scenes.”
People behind the scenes can see themselves as a silent force behind a program. “And then suddenly think they can demand more salary. In short: a lot of people are going to demand more salary, because they see Yvonne’s salary as an argument for asking for more money. This will simply cost Talpa a lot of money…”
