Eva Jinek sent Beau van Erven Dorens an app after six months to explain her departure from RTL 4. “I didn’t answer that,” the presenter admits.
You wouldn’t expect it, but Eva Jinek turns out to be an incredibly uncollegial TV maker. In recent years, the talk show host formed a talk show trio at RTL 4 with Beau van Erven Dorens and Humberto Tan, but she has never explained her departure from the channel to them. No call, no text. Just nothing at all. He leaves without a word.

Humberto has made a comment about this several times and Beau also expressed his dissatisfaction about it three weeks ago. He finds it quite disappointing from the presenter: “I haven’t even heard from her that she is leaving! Yes, that’s her business. She must do that as she wishes.”
Apparently Eva felt a little guilty after that comment, because she subsequently took up the pen, Beau now reveals in the New Year’s Eve special of Dear viewers. “Did you know she left? Had she contacted you?” asks presenter Ruben Nicolai.

Beau answers in the negative. “No, no, no, no, not, but anyway, that all has to do with all kinds of papers you sign and all kinds of confidentiality clauses, so I don’t blame her for that (puts on a grim face for fun, ed.). ”
Ruben: “But you haven’t spoken to her at all?”
Beau then reveals that he has received a text from Eva. “No, last week she sent me a WhatsApp to say that she apologized for the fact that she had not yet told me that she was leaving in the first place.”
Not answered
A bit late, Beau thinks. “That happened in June. I didn’t answer that, because I’m that petty. I thought: yes, six months later, I won’t answer it anymore.”
Eva reportedly earned 1.2 million euros per year at RTL, but at the NPO there is a salary maximum of around €200,000. “I didn’t know they could pay so much at the NPO,” Beau sneers.

Beau is of course referring to shady agreements here. Ruben: “Luuk, do you believe that she will earn less at the NPO?”
Fellow guest Luuk Ikink then: “No, I don’t believe that. Well no. You can never find out, because that is such a construction with a production company and that then pays Eva. You will never find out, because we obviously don’t get to see those pay slips.”
