Tony stayed with his sister for three nights, the fourth night she was murdered by her stalking ex: “Police should have done more”

Tony Schapendonk spent three days late at night with his sister Marly (35) because of her stalking ex. On the night he stayed at home, Marly and her cousin Martinus – who was with her at the time – were shot dead. Marly lived in Geistingen (Kinrooi), a tiny village in the east of the Belgian province of Limburg. Almost four months later, Tony looks back on the double murder, how the police didn’t take the stalking seriously enough and how he wants to change that.
