The year is 1924 and for the first time in British history, Labor is in rule. For the ultra-conservative Robert Crawley, that social-democratic vision takes some getting used to. Because will the stove still be fired for you in the future or will you have to work with the blower yourself in the future? While Robert tries to secure the future of the estate, things ‘down there’ are also unsettled; what does all this mean for the staff?

If you cook Chinese, you buy noodles. If you cook Italian, you get pasta. Tagliatelle perhaps. But what’s the difference? The Inspection Service about noodle pretending to be pasta and pasta playing for noodle.

Behind the picturesque facades and ditches of the Overijssel tourist village Giethoorn appears to be a shadowy world; Yusuf, originally Turkish, and his mother have been harassed by local youth for a year now. Because why is nobody doing anything?
