From tonight until tomorrow morning it may be slippery on wet roads due to freezing. The KNMI therefore warns road users with code yellow. The weather institute is again pointing out the dangers for Sunday.
Code yellow applies tonight in Drenthe from 9 p.m. and lasts until 10 a.m. tomorrow morning. The warning applies to all northern provinces and Gelderland and Overijssel.
Code yellow applies throughout the Netherlands on Sunday from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. for snow and slippery roads. Snow is expected in many places in the morning. “The snowfall makes roads slippery and visibility is limited. Traffic may be disrupted and there is a risk of delays on the road,” the KNMI says.
