The American clothing provider Tommy Hilfiger extends his spectrum. On Tuesday, the brand, which belongs to the Textile Group PVH Corporation, presented its new premium collection “Tommy Hilfiger New York” as part of the men’s fashion fair Pitti Uomo in Florence.

A total of 19 looks were shown during a presentation in the historic Palazzo Portinari Salviati. According to the company, the new designs combine the preppy tradition of the brand and classic codes of the New York tailor’s craft with a modern perspective.

Tommy Hilfiger returns to his roots

Brand founder and designer Tommy Hilfiger explained the background of the collection. “The art of dressing elegantly is back,” he emphasized in a statement. “All inspiring icons of today’s culture rely on an upscale look, and that has gave great energy to the traditions of tailoring and the timelessness of the Savile Row.”

In addition, the 74-year-old broke back to the beginning of his career: “When I founded my brand 40 years ago, I wanted to give these traditional codes a playful American touch,” said Hilfiger. “This is exactly what we do again and open a new chapter in the history of our men’s fashion.”

The collection will be on the market in February 2026

At the beginning of next year, the new collection should also come into the shops. From February 2026, it will be available worldwide in selected Tommy Hilfiger stores, in the brand’s online shop and from important trading partners, the company explained.
