Tom Jones is one of the headliners at the latest edition of Elbjazz on July 10th and 11th in Hamburg. The organizer announced this on Monday (January 26th). The British singer will perform his greatest hits in front of the harbor backdrop.
“We are extremely pleased to announce not only another headliner for this year’s line-up, Tom Jones, but also a superstar with a career spanning over six decades full of world-famous hits,” said a statement.
Anyone who has ever been to one of the 85-year-old’s concerts knows what a special atmosphere the musician is still able to create. He is one of the most successful musicians with over 100 million records sold.
Jones already had a mega hit in 1965 with “It’s Not Unusual” and, as a mature tiger, reached a new audience with “Sex Bomb” (in collaboration with the German music producer Mousse T.) in 1999. Maybe he can do that again in Hamburg.
