Tom Ford, the fashion house of the designer of the same name, is evaluating the possibility of a sale, reports Bloomberg, citing anonymous sources with knowledge of the matter.
The brand has reportedly hired advisors from investment bank Goldman Sachs to explore the possibility of a sale. The value of the fashion house is estimated at 7 billion US dollars, about 6.9 billion euros at the current exchange rate.
Tom Ford is still an independent fashion house. The sources indicated, according to Bloomberg, that no decision has been made yet and the brand can still decide to remain independent.
Goldman Sachs declined to comment to Bloomberg. Tom Ford has not yet responded to inquiries.
