Tom Ford Eyewear opens flagship on Tmall

Tom Ford Eyewear is opening a flagship store in the luxury section of Tmall, an e-commerce platform owned by China’s Alibaba Group.

The new store in Tmall’s “Luxury Pavilion” connects the brand with the needs of new customers in the ever-evolving Chinese luxury market, according to Italian eyewear manufacturer Marcolin. Last year, Marcolin signed a perpetual licensing agreement for Tom Ford Eyewear with the owner of the Fashion house, The Estée Lauder Companies

Tmall Luxury Division is a strategic unit of China’s Alibaba Group dedicated to luxury e-commerce. Since Tmall Luxury Pavilion launched in 2017, more than 200 leading luxury and premium brands worldwide have joined the platform, including luxury brands such as Brunello Cucinelli, Filippa K and Axel Arigato.
