Tokayev dismissed the matchmaker of Nazarbayev’s daughter from the post of head of the CEC

Tokayev appointed Nurlan Abdirov as the new head of the CEC, who had was Member of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan.

Kulibayev announced that he himself decided to resign. He is married to the middle daughter of the ex-head of state, Dinara. Also, two other sons-in-law of Nazarbayev lost their positions – Dimash Dosanov, the chairman of the board of KazTransOil JSC, who is married to the youngest daughter of the ex-president, Aliya, and Kairat Sharipbayev, the chairman of the board of QazaqGaz National Company JSC, who is called the husband of the eldest daughter, Dariga.
