TOFAŞ, which started the match quickly and scored points with the duo Obrien and Reed, prevailed 11-7 in the first 5 minutes. Although Anadolu Efes took the lead in the 9th minute (15-17) with the points scored by Oturu from fast attacks, TOFAŞ finished the quarter ahead 18-17.
