TM Czech Republic Internationals Database – Jan Koller Top Goalscorer

Also Kazakhstan completely

The transfer market statistics are enriched by two more milestones. All games of the national teams of the Czech Republic and previously Czechoslovakia and Kazakhstan are now available in our database. The best goalscorer in the history of the Czechs is an old acquaintance from the Bundesliga: Borussia Dortmund’s former attacker Jan Koller is at the top with 54 goals. His former teammate Tomas Rosicky follows a few places behind in fourth (23). Bayer Leverkusen’s Patrik Schick is also in the top 10, having scored 17 goals so far.

The most common place on the pitch for the Czech Republic was a keeper. Petr Cech made 124 saves. A total of four players surpassed the mark of 100 games, including Rosicky again with 105 appearances. The best performance at a World Cup or European Championship was second place at the 1996 European Championships, when they lost 2-1 to Germany in the final after extra time. Back then, the ex-Juventus professional and current vice-president of the “Old Lady”, Pavel Nedved, was also on the field.

What stands out in the history of the Kazakhs is that they scored 13 goals and won 73 international matches during their playing days, putting them first and second in the respective rankings. Among the professionals with the most appearances, the former attacking midfielder is only topped by Samat Smakov (76 games).
