TK Maxx opens in the Dutch border town of Enschede

Retailer TK Maxx has opened a new location in the Dutch border town of Enschede.

It is the 14th branch of the off-price provider in the Netherlands, said TK Maxx on Friday. However, it is the first store in the Overijssel region, which includes the cities of Zwolle and Almelo, among others.

“This international department store is a great addition to the rich range of shops in the heart of our city,” said June Nods, Enschede City Councilor for Economy. “The first TK Maxx store in Overijssel will also create additional jobs in Enschede.”

In addition to Enschede, TK Maxx is represented in Almere, Apeldoorn, Amsterdam, Arnhem, The Hague, Eindhoven, Groningen, Heerlen, Nijmegen, Rotterdam and Zoetermeer. There are currently two stores in Amsterdam. Another location “in the heart of Amsterdam” is planned for this year, according to TK Maxx.
