FOOTBALL – Titan has regained the lead in the 4th division D of Sunday football. The formation from Nieuw Weerdinge won 0-3 at Zwartemeerse Boys and therefore passed Schoonebeek in the ranking.
Harmjan Moesker opened the score in the seventh minute. It was his fourteenth goal of the season for the Titan striker. Just before half time it was 0-2 due to an own goal by Zwartemeerse Boys. After that, the audience had to wait a long time for another goal. It fell just before time and was made by Patrick Luiten.
Havelte to place 2
In the 4th class A, Havelte won against Smilde’94 at home. As a result, Havelte climbs to place 2, well behind the hitherto unapproachable Wacker from De Wijk. Wacker has 34 points from 12 matches and Havelte has 23 from 11. Next weekend both teams will face each other in Havelte.
Stefan Letsch and Stan Willems took care of the 1-0 and 2-0 within 25 minutes and fifteen minutes after the break Stefan Klok brought the tension back. Rens Lotze made the 3-1 twenty minutes before the end and that turned out to be the final blow for the guests, who scored the 3-2 in the last minute (Roy Jongsma).
