Dyon sighs again. Woonstichting Het Grootslag recently informed him that the tenants were able to go there at the earliest in November. A new disappointment in a series of bad messages. “First it would be June, then August. And now November again.”
Dyon still lives with his demented father because of the delays, in an attic room. “Fortunately I can go there. He is not doing well and if I can do this, he will probably go to a care home.”
Dyon craves for his own place
The attic is also the place where he regularly receives his 4 -year -old son. The desire for your own place is therefore great. “I think it is important that I can receive it in a good place. And I also want to be able to live on myself, I have been there for 33 years. I have been there long enough now. I just want to get in quickly.”
The patience of Dyon and the other fifteen tenants will be put to the test. Does he still have faith in a happy ending? An affable smile betrays his state of mind: “Half”.
