The Swedish company Pophouse has acquired Tina Turner’s name, image and music rights – it is best known for digital avatars of ABBA and Kiss.
The rights to Tina Turner’s name, image and likeness now belong to Pophouse Entertainment – the Associated Press reports. The company, co-founded by ABBA co-founder Björn Ulvaeus, also acquired a majority stake in Turner’s music catalog from BMG. It was agreed not to disclose the financial details of the transaction.
