US President Donald Trump On Friday, the time limit extended the time the Chinese technology company, Bytedance, should sell its US business to a non-Chinese buyer. Otherwise, Trump is threatening to close Tiktok.
Tiktok was supposed to close for the same reason as early as January.
According to Trump, the conclusion of a contract related to Tiktok still requires extra time.
“We hope to continue cooperation with China in a good spirit, which, in my understanding, is not very happy about our reciprocal coming,” Trump said.
