Tickets for Stuttgart must be exchanged

Rammstein are coming to Stuttgart on June 10th and 11th as part of their European tour – so far, so good. However, the band will not be playing in the Mercedes-Benz Arena as originally planned, but instead they will be performing at the Cannstatter Wasen. However, this also means that all booked seats must be exchanged online, as “Metal Hammer” reports. Otherwise tickets for the Mercedes-Benz Arena will lose their validity.

The background to the change of venue is the current construction work in the Mercedes-Benz Arena. Because of the European Football Championship 2024, which will take place in Germany, the arena will remain closed to Rammstein fans. The two concerts, for which a total of 100,000 fans are expected, must therefore take place at the Cannstatter Wasen. However, like any move, this is not without its difficulties.

“Update maps as soon as possible”

Because there are fewer seats at the new venue than in the Mercedes-Benz Arena, Eventim communications manager Frank Brandmeier appeals to concertgoers: the seats booked should be updated as soon as possible. “Unfortunately, many cardholders have not yet done so,” says Brandmeier.

The Cannstatter Wasen can be reached publicly, by bike or on foot. On-site parking is not available.
