The old gentlemen with the white make-up are back. The band members of Kiss may have aged, but they still want to put on a show for the fans on stage. For the “End Of The Road” tour, singer Paul Stanley, bassist Gene Simmons, guitarist Tommy Thayer and drummer Eric Singer are stopping at the Barclays Arena in Hamburg on June 13th – they are said to be breaking up after this tour, so it could be must have been the last concert in the Hanseatic city. The Barclays Arena in Hamburg is the largest multifunctional arena in Northern Germany and offers space for around 15,000 people. If you are late, you can still go here tickets get hold of it – prices start at 84 euros. The “End Of The Road” tour takes the band back to Germany a few weeks later. You can easily reach the stadium by public transport. It is best to use the S3 towards Pinneberg or the S21 towards Elbgaustrasse. The journey ends at the Stellingen-Arenen stop. From there you can use the event shuttle bus service to reach the Barclays Arena. For those who prefer to travel by bus: either take line 22 to Hellgrundweg/Arenen or line 180 to the Am Volkspark station. As a reminder: With the event tickets you can use all means of transport of the Hamburger Verkehrs Verbund (HVV) on the outward and return journey.
Parking areas are available around the Barclays Arena for anyone traveling by car. Parking usually costs 8 euros per vehicle. The organizer reminds: The parking lots are not monitored. So do not leave any valuables in your vehicle.
