The women of the North Netherlands Golf & Country Club closed the competition with a resounding 17-1 victory over Almouderhout. They finished third in their group.
,,I think that is a reasonably good result, although of course we would have liked to reach the semi-finals”, says team captain Kaylee de Jonge.
The team of the golf club from Glimmen was formed against Almouderhout, in addition to De Jonge, by Marit Harryvan, Karin Jansen, Amber Bruins, Annemieke van de Koppel and Aniek Martini. Only Bruins dropped a point. She drew in her singles match.
The men of the North Dutch did not come into action. They will play their last game of this competition on Saturday. The Rosendaelsche is then the opponent on the Houtrak. The winner stays in the top division, the loser is relegated.
