A man was amazed on Sunday afternoon when he discovered a hole in the wall in the stairwell of a commercial building on Kurfürstendamm.

Through this one could climb into the sales rooms of a jeweler!

As the police announced on Monday, strangers entered the interior through the hole and escaped with money and jewelry – it is still unclear to what extent.

The investigations into the perpetrators and the narrowing down of the time of the crime are still ongoing.

While there was gunfire outside, an alarm system was also triggered in a shopping center in Potsdam-Drewitz.

Shortly after the turn of the year, according to the Brandenburg police, several strangers forced their way into the shopping center with a stolen car.

Two jewelry stores were then broken into in the mall. The amount of damage and loot is not yet clear.

The police immediately searched for the perpetrators – without success.
