A 25-year-old woman from Roosendaal and two men from 27 from Rotterdam and 41 from Sint Hubert are seen as the three main suspects in a human trafficking. According to the Public Prosecution Service (OM), they were guilty of sexual exploitation between January 2021 and August 2023. Victims were three girls, who were forced into prostitution when they were forced into, were only 15, 16 and 17 years old.
The criminal case started on Friday morning in the court in Breda and will certainly take a few days. The public prosecutor has not yet come to a requirement.
Paid for not delivered
The ball came rolling in August 2023 after someone had reported to the police for scams. As a result of an advertisement on Sexjobs.nl, he had paid in advance for sex with a prostitute. But the appointment was canceled and he could whistle for his money.
The man managed to put the police on the track of a then almost 18-year-old woman, one of the three victims in this human trafficking case. She stated that she earned a lot of money as a prostitute, but that she did not reluctantly did this work. The police doubted her story and thus tracked down the three suspects.
During the research it became clear, among other things, that the girls had to perform sexual acts at customers in hotels, cars and a grandmother and a brother of one of the victims at home. That happened in places such as Gilze, Helmond, Sint Hubert, Roosendaal and the Belgian city of Antwerp. The suspects would have earned this.
‘Girlfriend has lied more often’
The only female suspect, AB, and the victim about whom it was explicitly this Friday, had known each other for years. From a summer job in a factory in Roosendaal to going out and the chill With pleasure of XTC pills, joints and laughing gas.
B. is accused of having encouraged the girl to enter prostitution. The Roosendaalse refutes this: “My girlfriend has lied more often, I didn’t even know what kinky wax. He soon knew that the victim was a minor, and that he was punishable, but continued to make an effort for her because she threatened to hang his activities on the big clock.
S. is also accused of raping her and that there has been forced sex fifty times. S. only admitted that sex has happened three times (unpaid).
‘Not fair about age’
JB, the suspect who seemed to suffer most from this case, acknowledged that he met the girl eight times. Sexual acts have been six times and film recordings have also been made. He made one twice photo shoot From the girl, where it also came to sex after the first time.
B. has said enough to check the age of the girl. In the summer of 2023 he put an end to their relationship: “She was not fair about her age because she was a minor.”
