All three occupants were taken to hospital with serious injuries. A blood test was also taken from the driver because he is suspected of driving under the influence, a police spokesperson said.
The driver of the other car was also taken to hospital, but was able to go home after treatment. The road was temporarily closed for emergency services and investigation, but has now been reopened. The police are still completing the investigation.
