The driver of the other vehicle involved in the head-on collision in Villeneuve-d’Ascq, France, in which four people, including three police officers, died, was found to be under the influence of alcohol and cannabis. Moreover, he would have driven in the wrong direction. That reports BFMTV.

The 25-year-old driver was killed in the head-on collision, as were three young police officers: Manon (24), Steven (25) and Paul (25). The young man had previously been charged with driving under the influence of cannabis.

His passenger tried to attack the firefighters who rushed to their aid after the accident. The latter have already reported this. The injured man was then rushed to Lille hospital.
