It is forbidden to drive two people on an e-scooter. On Friday afternoon there were even three teenagers in Reinickendorf on a vehicle – and caused an accident.

Around 1 p.m., a 28-year-old woman observed the three young people riding the e-scooter on the sidewalk of Friedrich-Wilhelm-Strasse. Shortly thereafter, the driver lost control as he was about to pull into the street and crashed into the woman’s parked car.

The two girls who were riding on the back of the e-scooter fell to the ground. The teenager, who is said to be a classmate of the two girls, first fled on the e-scooter, then parked the scooter and ran away.

One of the students (16) crashed into the wheel housing of the car in the accident, injuring her head. She was taken to the hospital. The second girl (14) injured her elbow.
