Three in four men between the ages of 50 and 55 neglect screening for colon cancer

Three in four men between 50 and 55 years old skip screening for colon cancer because they have no complaints and “just feel good”. This is evident from research by the Center for Cancer Detection (CvKO) and Helan, the Independent Health Insurance Fund. “That reasoning is dangerous,” warns health expert Lynn Pellens from Helan. “Colon cancer often only causes symptoms at a late stage.”
