About half of all ships are stranded in the North Sea. In Antwerp there are about thirty ships and the rest are waiting in the port of Ghent – the North Sea Port. Perhaps the problems will last at least until tomorrow evening/Wednesday evening.
The speech services will strike on Tuesday as part of the national day of action in public services against the measures taken by the federal government. They take the pilots with boats to large ships that want to enter Flemish ports. Today/Tuesday there is only one Flemish roadside boat available.
